We teach people of all ages and abilities how to cook, with the aim of reducing hunger, improving health, and bringing people together.

Our students are:

Primary school children, families accessing food banks, elderly adults at risk of chronic loneliness, people with learning disabilities, people with mental health challenges, young people excluded from mainstream education, and young adults not in education, employment, or training (NEET), primary and secondary schools

We provide a safe, welcoming teaching environment which enables people to develop vital life skills, to make healthier choices which impact their physical health and to build confidence, social skills, and mental wellbeing.

A chef for 37 years in fine dining, and having profitably run The View Restaurant at Whitsand Bay for 18 of those years, Matt Corner offers creative and inspiring cookery education and training programmes to the community.

We offer a unique assembly and chef masterclass package for secondary schools. Targeting young people who are uninspired, with the aim of introducing a basic skill set that will inspire possible progression into hospitality, using alternative training such as Barista, Mixology and sous vide to capture imagination.

Utilising the skills and knowledge of experienced chefs with a sympathy to the clientele, we aim to teach basic but fundamental cookery techniques, procurement, budgeting, and culinary mindfulness.
